Bosence were employed to start investigation and opening-up works to this manor house in East Sussex. We produced 2 reports detailing our findings on the construction of the building, testing and matching various lime-based mortars, and recomendations for stone and brick repair.

We were part of an intial group of investigative works that formed the application for conservation and repair works. We have tested, matched and specified hot-mix lime mortars for the project in order to help retain the soft ashlar stone work, brick chimneys and flint elevations.
