We have been employed to survey and produce a conservation report on a large Arts and Crafts building in London. It has some lovely decorative plaster ceilings by Lawrence Turner, who was at the forefront of the group of craftsmen intent on the revival of craft skills, under the influence of William Morris. The building has been empty for some time leading to some localised damage from water ingress, and a large scale refurbishment and conservation program is under way.
Bosence has produced Conservation Reports on much of the historic fabric including: Fireplaces, Marble Floors, Decorative Plaster and Leadlight Windows. Bosence have designed repairs, and temporary support and protection of the delicate areas.
